The consultation
Every surgical journey at BIMC CosMedic ideally begins with a private video consultation, typically lasting thirty minutes. We will discuss your concerns, take a careful medical history, and ask for high-resolution photographs from multiple angles. You speak directly with the surgeon who would perform your procedure, not a salesperson. There is no obligation to proceed; many of our enquiries do not become procedures, and that is exactly as it should be.
Our approach
We favour the smallest intervention that achieves the result. For some patients that is an injectable; for others, a single surgical procedure; for a few, a staged plan over a year. We will tell you, before anything else, when surgery is not the answer. Our surgeons would rather decline a case than perform one they do not believe in.
The theatre
Procedures are performed at BIMC Hospital Nusa Dua — Indonesia's first ACHSI-accredited international hospital, and our home since 1998. Our surgical suites meet the same international standards. We are equipped for full general anaesthetic, day-stay, and overnight observation as required. A consultant anaesthetist reviews every patient before theatre, and intensive-care backup is on-site should it ever be needed.
Recovery
Most surgical patients move directly to private accommodation for between five and fourteen days, depending on the procedure. Our nursing team visits daily during admission, and our surgeons see you at least twice after discharge. Our concierge handles transfers, pharmacy, and anything else that arises. We suggest planning ten to fourteen days on the island so stitches can be removed and your surgeon can clear you to fly home.
