Overview

Breast augmentation, lift, reduction, implant exchange and gynecomastia surgery. We aim for natural proportion and a result that suits your frame, performed under our highest safety thresholds.

Preparing for your procedure

Beyond the standard preparation, breast and gynecomastia surgery need no special extra steps, so focus on stopping smoking and blood thinners on schedule, completing your pre-operative tests, and arranging help at home for the first weeks. Plan ahead for a supportive garment you will need to wear continuously after surgery.

Recovery & aftercare

Sutures are dissolvable and dressings are usually changed around day ten, with scar gel starting from about day fourteen. Wear your supportive post-surgical bra or compression garment continuously, 24 hours a day, for about three months unless told otherwise. Avoid strenuous activity, swimming, and saunas for at least two months, or until your surgeon clears you.

Breast augmentation with cohesive silicone gel implants — every detail, from size to placement, tailored entirely to your body and your goals.

Recovery & Aftercare

A support garment is worn while swelling settles and gentle self-massage may be advised. Augmentation does not lift significantly sagging breasts — a lift can be combined.

Alternatives

External breast forms or padded bras add the look of volume without surgery, and fat transfer offers an implant-free option, though with more modest enhancement.

Risks & considerations

Bleeding or haematoma · Infection · Capsular contracture (firmness) · Implant rupture or deflation · Implant displacement or malposition · Altered nipple or skin sensation · Implant rippling or wrinkling · Visible or thickened scarring · Asymmetry needing revision

Duration

2 hours

Recovery

2 nights hospital stay · 10–14 days on-island recovery

What's included
  • Surgeon, anesthesiologist, team fee
  • Room admission up to 2 days
  • Medication and consumables in surgery
  • Medication on discharge

Repositions the breast tissue and nipple-areola complex higher on the chest wall, implants can be added for extra fullness.

Recovery & Aftercare

A surgical bra is worn continuously for several weeks. Avoid lifting and overhead stretching early; most return to work within about three weeks.

Alternatives

A supportive bra can improve appearance temporarily, and concurrent implants may be considered where added volume is desired, but neither replaces a surgical lift.

Risks & considerations

Bleeding or haematoma · Infection · Altered or lost nipple sensation · Compromised nipple blood supply · Visible or thickened scarring · Breast or nipple asymmetry · Changes in breast shape over time · Reduced ability to breastfeed · Delayed wound healing

Duration

4 hours

Recovery

2 nights hospital stay · 10–14 days on-island recovery

What's included
  • Surgeon, anesthesiologist, team fee
  • Room admission up to 2 days
  • Medication and consumables in surgery
  • Medication on discharge

Exchange of existing implants for new ones, with capsule work where indicated. Implant cost is quoted separately.

Alternatives

Leaving existing implants in place, or removing them without replacement, are options to discuss alongside exchange surgery.

Risks & considerations

Bleeding or haematoma · Infection · Recurrent capsular contracture · Incomplete capsule removal · Implant rupture or failure · Altered nipple or skin sensation · Implant rippling or displacement · Visible or thickened scarring · Seroma (fluid collection)

Duration

3 hours

Recovery

2 nights hospital stay · 10–14 days on-island recovery

What's included
  • Surgeon, anesthesiologist, team fee
  • Room admission up to 2 days
  • Medication and consumables in surgery
  • Medication on discharge

Reshape and reduce for a result that feels as good as it looks, with careful attention to preserving natural sensation.

Recovery & Aftercare

A surgical bra is worn for several weeks. Avoid lifting and raising the arms overhead early on; most return to work within about three weeks.

Alternatives

Supportive bras, weight management and physiotherapy can ease symptoms, though they cannot reduce breast size the way surgery can.

Risks & considerations

Bleeding or haematoma · Infection · Altered or lost nipple sensation · Visible or thickened scarring · Reduced ability to breastfeed · Breast or nipple asymmetry · Fat necrosis or firmness · Compromised nipple blood supply · Delayed wound healing

Duration

4 hours

Recovery

2 nights hospital stay · 10–14 days on-island recovery

What's included
  • Surgeon, anesthesiologist, team fee
  • Room admission up to 2 days
  • Medication and consumables in surgery
  • Medication on discharge

Areolar reduction, nipple-projection correction, or inverted-nipple repair which can be done under local anaesthesia.

The Procedure

The nipple is reduced in length, width, or both using dissolvable sutures and shaped to suit the breast.

Recovery & Aftercare

Recovery is quick — most patients return to normal activity within a day and can shower the next day.

Risks & Complications

Minor swelling and soreness settle within a few days.

Duration

2 hours

Recovery

Day-care procedure · 7–10 days on-island recovery

What's included
  • Surgeon, team fee
  • Medication and consumables in surgery
  • Medication on discharge

Gynecomastia reduction surgery is a procedure performed to remove excess fat, glandular tissue, and/or skin from enlarged or overdeveloped male breasts.

Alternatives

Compression garments can minimise the appearance of enlarged tissue, and where the excess is mainly fatty, liposuction alone may reduce breast volume.

Risks & considerations

Bleeding or haematoma · Infection · Visible or thickened scarring · Altered nipple or skin sensation · Chest or nipple asymmetry · Skin contour irregularities · Fat necrosis · Seroma (fluid collection) · Delayed wound healing

Duration

3 hours

Recovery

2 nights hospital stay · 10–14 days on-island recovery

What's included
  • Surgeon, anesthesiologist, team fee
  • Room admission up to 2 days
  • Medication and consumables in surgery
  • Medication on discharge

Frequently asked

It depends on your goals, your current shape, and whether you are looking to add volume, improve position, reduce size, or a combination of these. Augmentation adds fullness, a lift reshapes and elevates, a reduction relieves size and weight, and nipple reduction refines the areola and nipple projection. Many of these can be combined in a single session. At consultation, we will assess your anatomy and recommend the approach that best suits you.
A breast lift (mastopexy) reshapes and elevates the breast using your existing tissue — it does not add volume. If you also want fuller breasts, augmentation with a lift combines implant placement with the reshaping and lifting technique in the same procedure. Your surgeon will advise which option achieves your goals based on your current breast volume and degree of ptosis (sagging).
Yes. Implant removal without replacement is a straightforward procedure. The outcome in terms of breast shape will depend on how long the implants have been in place, your skin elasticity, and the original size of the implants. In some cases, a concurrent breast lift is recommended to address the skin redundancy that may result — this can be discussed and planned prior to surgery.
No. Nipple reduction is an independent procedure that can be performed on its own under local anaesthesia. It reduces the projection and/or diameter of the nipple and has a short, straightforward recovery. It can also be combined with augmentation, lifting, or reduction if you are already planning another breast procedure.
Changes in nipple sensation — either increased sensitivity or temporary numbness — are a known possibility with most breast procedures, particularly augmentation, reduction, and lifting. In the majority of patients, sensation returns to normal over weeks to months. Our techniques are designed to preserve the nerve supply to the nipple-areola complex wherever possible, and this will be discussed in detail at your consultation.
Most breast procedures require approximately 7 to 10 nights on the island so that we can review your healing and remove any non-dissolvable sutures before you travel home. If you are having a more complex combined procedure — such as augmentation with lift or implant exchange with lift — we may recommend a slightly longer stay. Your surgeon will advise based on your specific plan.
A supportive surgical bra or compression garment should be worn continuously, day and night, for approximately three months. You may transition to a regular bra once your surgeon has confirmed that your healing allows it. For implant-based procedures, consistent support is particularly important during the first few weeks to allow the implants to settle in the correct position.
All breast surgery produces some degree of scarring, but our techniques are designed to minimise visibility. Sutures are dissolvable, and scar management gel can begin from around day fourteen once the wound has adequately healed, helping scars to soften and fade over time. The location of incisions will be discussed and planned with you prior to surgery.
Light daily activities can generally be resumed within one to two weeks. Strenuous activity, heavy lifting, swimming, and saunas should be avoided for at least two months. For procedures involving implants, avoiding movements that significantly engage the chest muscles is particularly important in the early recovery period. Your surgeon will guide a gradual return to full activity based on your individual recovery progress.
We use only regulatory-approved cohesive silicone gel implants from reputable manufacturers. While implants are not considered lifetime devices, many patients keep their implants for ten to fifteen years or more without issue. Routine monitoring is recommended, and replacement is only necessary if a complication arises — such as rupture, capsular contracture, or significant change in position — rather than on a fixed schedule. Your surgeon will advise on monitoring at your follow-up appointments.
